Saltwater Restaurants is Hiring a Floor Manager Near Fort Walton Beach, FL

JOB TITLE: FLOOR MANAGER

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations to include customer satisfaction, service and supervision of employees. Work with management team to control food, beverage and labor costs and operational expenses.

Operations

Food and Beverage

  1. Conduct line checks to ensure quality and preparation standards are met.
  2. Ensure proper food handling and beverage controls and procedures are administered.
  3. Ensure customer satisfaction through quality food and beverage service training.
  4. Responsible for beverage ordering and receiving (in store with no bar manager).

Administrative and Financial

  1. Responsible for proper opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
  2. Complete daily administrative duties necessary for restaurant operations as directed by General Manager.
  3. Ensures prescribed SRI Restaurant safety and security procedures are followed.
  4. Responsible for beverage inventory and cost control (in stores with no bar manager).
  5. Timely completion of objectives as directed by the General Manager.

Service

  1. Ensures proper service guidelines are followed.
  2. Conducts line ups prior to shifts to ensure proper attire and daily information is achieved.
  3. Ensures prescribed SRI Standards of Cleanliness are upheld in dining area and bar.
  4. Ensures proper music level and temperature is kept in dining room and bar through shift.

Personnel

  1. Responsible for interviewing, training and scheduling of all front of house personnel.
  2. Maintain appropriate staffing on a daily and weekly basis to ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Evaluate employees on a regular basis.
  4. Adhere to company policies in employee discipline and motivation.
  5. Complete hiring packets, discipline reports, and separation reports thoroughly and send to main office on a timely basis.
  6. Monitors employee morale and motivation.
